Terms
The agreement between your shop and Orin. Short, because it should be.

What Orin is
Orin is software for running a shop: stock, selling, customers, credit, expenses and reports. You use it over the internet, and on a phone it can be installed and keep working when the network drops.
Orin is a tool. It is not your accountant, and it does not give tax or legal advice.
Your account
You are responsible for who you let into your shop's Orin and what they do there. Give staff the access their job needs and no more — the roles exist for that.
Keep your password to yourself. If you think somebody else has it, change it, and tell us if something looks wrong.
Your data is yours
Everything you put into Orin belongs to you. We store it so the software can work, and we do not claim any ownership of it.
You can export it whenever you like, and we would rather you left with your data than felt trapped with us.
Paying for Orin
Some plans are free and some are paid. A paid plan bills for a period, and what it includes is shown before you choose it.
If an invoice goes unpaid past its due date and the reminders we send, the shop moves back to the free plan. Nothing you have entered is deleted and the till keeps working — you simply stop getting the paid features until the bill is settled.
What we promise, and what we do not
We work hard to keep Orin available and correct, and we fix what breaks. But we cannot promise it will never be unavailable, and we cannot be responsible for money lost through mistakes in what was typed in, decisions made from a report, or a payment provider's own failure.
Back up what matters to you. Orin can export your data, and a shop that has never exported anything is trusting us more than it should.
Ending it
You can stop using Orin at any time and close your account from within the app. Export first — after closing, the deletion described on the Privacy page happens.
We may close an account that is used to break the law or to damage the service for others. If we do, we will tell you why.
Where this applies
Orin is operated from Tanzania, and Tanzanian law governs this agreement.
